Janice L. Reeves

Born September 29, 1953, in Huron, Indiana. She was the daughter of Albert King Jr. and Anna Mae (Terrell) King. She married Gary E. Reeves on August 1, 2007 and he survives.

She was employed in her early years at RCA working the line as a soldering technician. For the majority of her life she was a stay at home mom to her two daughters. She enjoyed cake decorating and cooking. She had a love for classic cars , her pets and her country. She loved her family.

Survivors include her husband Gary of Greenwood, Indiana; two daughters, Gabrielle Johnson and husband Dan of New Whiteland, Indiana, Angela Calhoun and husband Nathan of Franklin, Indiana; two grandchildren, Hannah VanMeter and husband Caleb and Cameron Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shirley Anderson.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 11th in the Remembrance Hall at Crown Hill Mortuary in Indianapolis, Indiana with Wendy Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Family and friends may express condolences at www.crown hill.org

The family of Jan would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at the Saint Francis Heart Center (especially Lacie). Their care and concern for her was beyond compare.
