Jean Anne Hoffman

Jean Anne (Nickel) Hoffman died June 24, 2023 at the age of 88. Jean was the daughter of John and Lavon Swisher Nickel. She was the wife of Alfred Hoffman, who preceded her in death. Jean was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Mira Hoffman.

Jean is survived by her sons; Andrew Hoffman, Michael Hoffman, and Timothy Hoffman and her grandchild Alexander Hoffman.

She graduated from Holy Cross Central School of Nursing in South Bend, Indiana. She worked at several local hospitals after graduation. Jean was a life member of the Guardian Angel Guild and was a past president of this organization and the St Mary‘s child center preschool guild of which she was a founding member. Jean was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.

A visitation for Jean will be held on Friday, June 30th from 10-11 am at Holy Spirit Church; 7243 E 10th Street, Indianapolis IN 46219. Following the Visitation will be a Catholic Funeral Mass at 11. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery immediately after.

Family and Friends are invited for a gathering at The Harness Way Clubhouse following the burial until 3:00pm. The Clubhouse is located at 10854 Harness Way, Indianapolis IN 46239.
