
Jeanne was a beloved family member, friend and presence in the lives of so many. She was known for her kind hear, quick wit, and generous spirit. Her warmth and sense of humor made people feel welcome instantly, and her caring nature left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A lifelong reader with a deep appreciation for history and learning, she was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She found joy in books, meaningful conversations, and continuing to learn throughout her life.
Jeanne also had a love for travel and adventure. Whether exploring somewhere new or simply enjoying the beautiful of home, she embraced life with curiosity and gratitude. She especially loved spending time in her yard, which she cared for with pride and joy. Her love for animals reflected the compassion and gentleness she carried throughout her life.
Above all, Jeanne will be remembered for the love she gave so freely. She was funny, thoughtful, giving and deeply devoted to the people and animals seh loved. Her memory will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.
Jeanne is survived by children; Rebecca (Mike) Boyle and Michael Malad, siblings; Robert (Debbie) Carver, Carol (Ray) Woerlen and Mary Heineken, companion; Kenneth Lamy, and four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert Carver and ImogeneLong, and siblings; David Carver and Tracy Long.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 10:00am at Crown Hill Cemetery. Gather in the lobby of Crown Hill Funeral Home, then process to the grave site for the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that and donations be made in her memory to St. Matthew Catholic Church at 4100 E. 56th St.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
