

Jerry retired from the CSX Railroad after 39 years of service as a conductor. His love for his family and all those around him exceeded our imagination. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing his bounty with everyone around him.
He is survived by his wife; Barbara Richardson, his beloved children; Kelley (John) DiCicco, Kevin (Julie) Richardson, five stepchildren; Donald Horsley, Charles Kent (Lori) Horsley, Cheryl (Marly) Rumfelt, Shea (Robert) Bevington, Shawn (Karen) Berling. He is also survived by his grandchildren; John A. (Macy) DiCicco Jr, Brandon (Molly) DiCicco, Josh (Kim) Rumfelt, Kaylee (Chris) Rumfelt, Xavier (Brittany) Green, Kyler Green, Lowell Bevington, Owen Bevington, Cooper Bevington, Kristen Wilkerson, six great grandchildren, brothers; Glenn, Othel, and Ricky Richardson, and sisters; Betty (Bob) Combs and Donna Weimer.
Jerry is preceded in death to their new life by his sisters; Loretta Hicks and Diana Roundtree, his parents; Irene and Lc Richardson.
A Celebration of life will be held on February 12, 2022 at 1PM at Family Christian Center in Indianapolis, 1825 South Franklin Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46239.
In lieu of flowers, Jerry would be ecstatic if we donated non-perishable foods to the food pantry. Containers will be provided at the Celebration of life for these items to be easily donated.
