Jimmie W. Chambers, 78, passed away February 9, 2015. Jimmie was born to the late Ben and Roxie Chambers. He was the store manager of SafeWay Grocery for 25+ years before transitioning into owner/operator of The Pelican Restaurant.
Jimmie is survived by his loving children: Rennie (Jerry) Jones, Peggy Kelly, Beth (Richard) Spellman, Stephen (Sandy) Chambers, and Roxanne (Chris) Moss; sister Brenda (Bill) Tate; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and mother of his children Juanita Sue Chambers.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings.
