JoEtta was the heart of our home and family. She raised her children to be independent and thoughtful adults. As a young mother, she was a stay-at-home mom who was active in her children’s activities. When time would allow, she would also help her husband (Larry) in their barber shop. Once her children were on their own, she went to work for the Indiana Department of Revenue and retired after 15 years.
JoEtta is survived by her husband of almost 60 years; Larry D. Pitman, children; Daynen (Connie) Pitman, Chad (Dee) Pitman and Ronna (Clarke) Davis, grandchildren; Justin (Brittany), Kalie, Dylan, Cameron, Dakoda and Marissa and great grandchildren; Mikael, Bayli and Bentley.
A Celebration of Life for JoEtta will be held at a later date.
