John was a very special and caring friend. He was my youth minister when I was 16 and he was always there when I needed someone to talk to. We kept in touch through the years and 56 years later he was still calling to see how I was doing and he never forgot my birthday. He will be missed and I will think of him often.

John was one of the greatest wealth of knowledge and stories from funeral directing long ago. I will miss all the times I would stop by and hear one of the many stories he would share. A great man who's humor, presence, and knowledge will be truly missed.
