Cheryl,  I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jack's passing.  I have so many great memories of times spent with you and Jack. Many dinners, parties, and even a pilgrimage to West Virginia!

Cheryl,  our thoughts are with you, bringing to mind the many fine times with you and Jack, your hospitality, opening you house to us, especially for Race weekends.  Will never forget those frozen cucumbers Jack gave us for the 100 degree Brickyard.   Mac here, remembering Jack from the early 60's, in the Alamingo basement and, years later at the Lake where he made the mistake of trying to hide his cigars from the his brother's crowd in his underwear drawer. Cheryl,  I am so sorry for your loss.  You and Jack have been dear friends and Jack will really be missed.  He helped so many of us at Pelican Lake any time it was needed.

We will miss Jack at Pelican Lake, as a friend he was always available  to lend a hand and barbecued the most yummy pork steaks! Cheryl and family --  I am so sorry for your loss. My family and the Clark family have been friends for about 56 years  when Jack's parents and my parents rented cottages at Lake Tippecanoe (Oswego).  Jack always had that bright and knowing smile for me . He is missed. Tim Micheli and family.

Jack gave me a chance at a new career in 1978.  That lasted 33 years!  He was my boss and mentor. A man of few words he did not have to say much to get his point across.  He had the respect of his employees, co-workers, business associates.  He treated people with respect and fairness!  In 33 years I never heard anyone say anything negative about him!  He was the reason I stayed 33 years.  I made him promise me that when he decided to walk "away" to let me know.  He kept his promise and I knew it was time for me to also step "away". You always had my respect and admiration.  I am a better person for having known you.  Rest in peace!

Jack had countless friends and we are proud to be among them. Jack made a difference in our lives and in those of our children. Fall camping at State Parks is one of our favorite memories of our time with him. He will be missed but never forgotten. Rest in Peace dear friend.
