His father, Nathaniel Cole, mother, Lela Mae Wright preceded her in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, son, John Chares Cole Jr, daughter, Clara Grubbs, sister, Cladia M. Edwards (Howard), 4 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2014, 10am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel. His burial will take place in Sutherland Park Cemetery.
