He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Elizabeth Simon, son, John Henry Bennett, daughters, Carolyn Denise Coleman, Eva Denise Simon, brothers, James Dugan, Willie B. Dugan, Bennie Dugan, Larry Dugan, sister, Jessie Hickman, 6 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2014, 10am- 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm at Southern Missionary Baptist Church. His burial will take place in Westside Cemetery.
