John Edward Elsbury, Jr.

John Edward Elsbury, Jr. 62, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022. John was born May 6, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of the late John Edward Sr. and Nina Elsbury. John worked for the City of Indianapolis for 33 years in numerous capacities including street maintenance, snow removal and ground maintenance. John is survived by his wife: Angela Elsbury, children: Stacie and Michael Elsbury, sisters: Deborah Howard and Carla (Corey) Foster, brothers: Jimmy and Ronnie Elsbury and Charles Appleman, and grandchildren: Kylie and Khloe Holder and Michael Elsbury, Jr. He is preceded in death by his son: John Edward Elsbury, III, brother: Cecil Long and his parents. A visitation for John will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by a celebration of life service at 6:00 PM.
