John G Jefferson

John was born Indianapolis to John E. Jr. and Martha Jefferson (Iverson) on March 11, 1942. He graduated from Pike High School in 1960. John had four sons with his first wife, Cam Adams, and one daughter with his second wife Jennifer Ogden. He married, current wife, Mary, on October 18, 1991 in Greenwood, IN. He worked in the garage and entry-door industry for most of his working career. John was involved in Chin ministry at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Greenwood alongside his wife, Mary.

John Garland is preceded in death by his parents and son, Donald Jefferson.

John is survived by his wife Mary; his children David, Daniel, Daryl (Marla), and Joanna (Chris), and daughter-in-law, Julie; step children Jennifer (Darris), Nicole (Will), and Brock (Beth); 18 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren

Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 on March 25 at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church, 381 N. Bluff Rd, Greenwood, IN 46142 in the main sanctuary.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 on Friday, March 25 at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church, Pastor Ken Jones presiding. No grave-side service will follow.
