John "Bell" H. Miller Jr.

He was born on August 16,1973 to John Henry Miller Sr and Alberta (Burks) Miller in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated high school from Horace Mann High School in 1991. After graduation, he attended Vincennes University and graduated with an Associate Degree in Political Science.

Upon college graduation he went to the Marines. He was stationed in San Diego, California. After leaving the Marines, John became a police officer with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department. As his career in law enforcement advanced, he was promoted to Detective. John loved serving his country and fellow citizens however nothing made him happier than fatherhood and family.

John is survived by Mother Alberta Miller- Avon, Brother Steve (Lisa) Miller- Riverside, Brother Benjamin Portis- Avon, Brother Timothy (Terrica) Miller- Arkansas, Brother Johnathan Miller- Arkansas, Daughter Alexi Miller (Mother Amy Sides) - Indianapolis & Daughter MaKenna Miller (Mother Marisa Schofield)- Indianapolis and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Father John Henry Miller Sr, Brother Dennis Miller, Grandparents; Gracie and Eugene Burks.
