John J. Nicholls

56, of Indianapolis, passed away October 23, 2013. He was born July 28, 1957 in Memphis, TN to Charles Robert and Elizabeth Ann (Ensch) Nicholls. For the past twenty years, he proudly served as a dedicated associate at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. John is survived by his loving children Kelsey and Cole Nicholls, sister Beth Yeadon, brothers Bob, Ron, Don and Bill Nicholls. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tom Nicholls. Visitation will be Monday, October 28 from 4 - 7 pm at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, October 29 at Christ the King Catholic Church. John was a member of American Legion Post 64. He will be remembered for the deep love he held for his children and family. John was happiest when riding his beloved Harley Springer with good friends. He also enjoyed time at the shooting range, in the field or casting a line. His big heart and crazy sense of humor will be sadly missed by family and friends.
