Joseph T. Dane

Joseph T Dane, 12, passed away on the evening of July 18the surrounded by his family. Joseph was born on February 1, 2004 to his loving and proud parents, Tom and Heather Dane. Joseph was entering the 6th grade at Oaklandon Elementary in Lawrence Township where he had many friends. Joseph was known for his incredible smile and infectious laugh. His fun loving sense of humor and easy going personality made him a person that everyone wanted to be around. Joseph had a love of music, movies, board games, and sports and most enjoyed being around his peers, friends, and family. While Joseph faced numerous challenges he chose to live life to the fullest and on his own terms. Through his amazing spirit and magnetic personality Joseph touched the lives of many without ever speaking a word. Joseph is survived by his parents and his little sister, Mikayla Dane, and grandparents Gary and Paula French, Thomas Dane Sr, and Jean Ann Litteral, and great grandmothers Jessie French and Faye Poe. He is also survived by a large collection of aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored him immensely. He is preceded in death by his uncle Michael French, great grandparents William French, Ralph Poe, William and Pauline Scoville, Harry and Melva Litteral, Joseph Henry and Martha Dane.
