Joseph W. Van Camp, Jr.
93, of Noblesville, departed this life March 18, 2015. He was born May 21, 1921 in Bloomer, WI to the late Joseph W. and Alma (Peterson) Van Camp, Sr. Joe earned his accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. He then served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Joe was a longtime and dedicated member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, where he served on the Parish Council. He was also a member of the Serra Club, St. Pius X Council of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Helen Van Camp and dear daughter, Mary Jo Van Camp. He is survived by his loving children, Kay Hardin, Jack Van Camp, Anne (Harry Simmeth) Van Camp, Peggy (Barry) Lynn and Dr. Joe (Joan) Van Camp; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Joe will be from 5 - 8 p.m. on Friday, March 20th in Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 21st in St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment follows at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
