Julia Annetta Eppen, 80, of Speedway, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Julia was born August 14, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of the late Dominick Joseph and Margaret Eliza Moran.
Julia was a secretary with Land America, formerly Lawyer's Title, for 42 years, retiring in 2003. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, Indy Hi-Winders Car Club, Senior Care Helpers and a 10 year member of Speedway Lions Club.
Julia is survived by her husband of almost 59 years; Stanley Eppen, children; Jeffrey Eppen and Annetta (John) Gholdson, brothers; Richard (Barbara) and James Moran, sister-in-law; Patricia Moran, grandchildren; Josephine (Geoffrey) Smith, Margaret and Michael Gholdson, numerous nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by 6 siblings.
A visitation for Julia will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. A visitation will occur Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church.
Julia will be laid to rest in West Ridge Park Cemetery, 9295 W 21st St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46234.
