Karen was born and raised in Indianapolis to John and Loretta Remmetter where she learned family was first and graduated from Scecina Memorial High School in 1977. Karen’s continual accomplishments through work led her to most recent position as Facilities Manager at the Indianapolis Star & News. Her 37 year career was accomplished through a strong supporting cast of family, in which she dearly loved. Karen was an active member in the Holy Spirit at Geist parish. An ideal afternoon would consist of Schwann’s ice cream over a game of Scrabble. She also enjoyed boating on Geist with family and friends. Loyal to her Euchre Club friends, she was always cheering on Indiana sports teams: Indianapolis Colts, Pacers, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
