Katherine Davis Bowers, 62 of Indianapolis passed away Fri., March 30, 2012. Katherine retired in 2007 from Chrysler Corporation. She attended Tabernacle of Hope SDA Church. She was preceded in death by father, A.G. Davis, Sr., son; Major P. Davis, daughter; Sonya Bowers, granddaughter, Ceiona Davis, brother, Henry L. Davis. Survived by son; Eugene Bowers, Jr., daughters; Marsha K. Lloyd, Tiffany S. Laarabi, and Kenya N. Hignite, mother; Mildred Davis, brothers; A.G. Davis, Jr., Johnny L. Davis, Samuel L. Davis, Thomas L. Davis and William S. Holland, sisters; Bernice Taylor, Margaret Davis- Mays, Mable L. Gary, Jeannette Strong and Elizabeth Cowart, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral Service will be held Fri. April 6, 2012 12:00 p.m. at Capital City Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1801 E. 49th Street with calling from 10:00 a.m. until time of service, Interment, Crown Hill Cemetery.
