Katherine Louise Mead, age 99, of Avon, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Katherine was born December 15, 1921 in Indianapolis. She was a supervisor underwriter for Meridian Mutual Insurance. She was a member of Hope Baptist Church. Katherine is survived by her daughters Deanna (Michael) Davis, Peggy (Stan) Burnette, grandson, great grandson and 1 great great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her husband Dwaine Mead.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 28 from 11 am to 1 pm at Hope Baptist Church at 1055 North Girls School Road, Indianapolis. Funeral will follow at 1 pm at the church. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery
