This week has been a dificult one for me.  It's a little bit difficult to                     get excited for Christmas and the holiday season because my best friend in the whole world passed away a year ago Dec 18th, 2021.            There are other things in my life that that are making me feel a bit                               out of sorts, but losing my BFF of 50 years really takes the cake...              I think about her everyday and I miss her terribly!  Your kitty cat Emma has joined you now as she died peacefully in her sleep a couple of weeks ago.  That kitty lived to be 20 1/2 years old!!!   I will always love you and keep yuor memory close to my heast...    Margot

Katherine had a free spirit and a wild sense of humor.  I loved her wicked smile. . We both loved our kitties who were family!  Hope she is flitting around checking out on us now and then. 


Not a day goes by that Kathy isn’t on my mind. She was a wonderful friend and person-kind, funny, non-judgemental, generous to a fault, fiercely loyal to her friends, and had a heart bigger than anyone else I’ve ever known. I miss you Kathy and hope you’re having the time of your after life with Lawson. Emma is doing well! ❤️❤️❤️ Terri


Kathy was a wonderful friend and a joy to know. She was caring and had a delightful sense of humor. She will be missed by many.


I was so sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing.  I met her many years ago in St. Croix, USVI, on a dive trip with Margot Murray.  She was so excited when she moved to St. Thomas-a dream come true for her.  She started her own house cleaning service and was in great demand.  I was lucky she fit me into her busy schedule and I alway enjoyed our friendship.  I wasn’t in St. Thomas when she left, but wish I’d been at her going away party.  Rest In Peace Kathy 🥰

I knew Kathy when she lived in St Thomas and she always was on the go moving about, so much energy.  
I still see her with a smile on her face and happy to be alive.

I feel so blessed to have lived in the era I did in high school at Shortridge.  I only wish I knew a few more people a little more than I had at the time,  Kathy included.  Rest In Peace dear friend and hope to see you again one heavenly day.  Praying for your family and friends for strength to carry on your legacy.   With a heavy heart , missing you.  

Kath and I met at 17 years old. She was fun, feisty,  stubborn at times, adventurous, loved the ocean and all creatures.  She had a heart of gold, a genuine caring soul. 
Kath, you'll be so missed. I love you Pooh.

Kathleen was my BFF; buddies since we were 16 years old.  I must say that there wasn't anything we wouldn't try to get into trouble or to indulge in risky (but fun!) behavior.  We just wanted to have fun!!!  We did have our demons though but managed to slay it as more mature women in our thirties...thank God!  we lived in Paradise for many years.  Kathleen was feisty at times and then she could mellow like jello...they broke the mold when she popped out!   Still having a hard time misssing her never thought i would be blessed to have her in my life.                         Margot D. Murray  12/27/21
