Katie was such a loyal friend to me during our high school years. During the anxiety of adolescence, Katie was genuine and I knew that even on my bad days I was still accepted by her. I’ll never forget how much her friendship meant to me. As life progresses, and I look back at who Katie was to so many different people from all walks of life... I know that she made a difference in the lives of so many people. Time and life drew is to different cities, different places, but I’ll never forget Katie. To the Heckman Family: May you be comforted through this deep loss. Thank you for sharing Katie with us.

We lived on Fern Court and my son, Andy, used to play with Katie on the cul-de-sac. They were both born in February, 1986. I was so sorry to read that Katie had passed away. Andy and I have fun memories of them running around outside......and just being nine!!!

Our thoughts are with you. Susan

Lynn and Rick,

I only spoke with Katie a few times. She was a lovely girl. Even though I didn’t know her well I want you both to know how saddened I was to hear of her passing.

Kindly,

Kathryn and I were close when working at the stadium together in New Hampshire. We spent a lot of late nights there, singing and dancing, trying to make the best of our time at work. (Also helping ourselves to m&ms & popcorn from the concessions) She had a way about her that just lit up a room and we had so much fun. So sorry for your loss.
