Kathryn Emilya Moore

Kathryn Emilya Moore 18, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly August 5, 2008. Kate was a 2008 graduate of University High School of Indiana and St. Richard's School. Kate is survived by her parents, Cindy J. Gnat Moore and Dr. Gary L. Moore, MD and step-mother, Jane Droege; her brothers, Jason (Jenny Watson) and Travis Moore; grandparents, Raymond and Jean Gnat; and nephew, Hunter Moore all of Indianapolis. In addition, she is survived by her aunt, Barbara (Tom) Weikart of Scottsdale, Arizona; uncle Richard (Miriam Neet) Gnat of Chicago, Illinois; uncles Thomas Tischer, of Indianapolis and John Hemmer of Tucson, Arizona; aunt Camille (Rich Fitzgerald) Hemmer of Sacramento, California. Kate will be greatly missed by her cousins, Jennifer Hemmer, and Kirsten, Morgan, Mark and Molly Weikart and all of her many friends, especially those she met through her many weeks at Waycross. Kate's talents and dynamic personality will be greatly missed. From the time she could walk, Kate never met a stranger. Kate was active in volleyball and basketball from kindergarten through high school. Memorial contributions may be made in Kate's memory to Waycross Episcopal Camp, 7363 Bear Creek Rd., Morgantown, Indiana 46160 and University High School of Indiana, 2825 W. 116th St., Carmel, Indiana 46032. A memorial calling will be held on Sunday August 10, 2008 from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Crown Hill Funeral Home.
