Kenneth “Ken” Doyle

80, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 12, 2020. Ken was born to the late Lester and Mammie Doyle on January 24, 1940. He was a US Army Veteran and spent time at Fort Knox and in Germany during his military career. He retired from General Motors after 25 years. Ken was a loving husband, father and grandpa. He loved cars, loved to cook and loved his 4 legged buddy “Missy”. He also showed horses in his earlier years.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 56 years; Florence Doyle, children; Steve Doyle, Greg (Cammy) Doyle, Staci (David) Samples and David Doyle, grandchildren; Jake, Nick and Jenni Samples, Hunter Doyle and Coy Doyle.

Ken was preceded in death by his grandson; Chad Samples and siblings; Lester A. Doyle Jr. and Shirley M. Taylor, along with his aunt; Myrtle Manuel.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Little and Sons Stop Eleven Chapel (4901 E. Stop 11 Rd., Indianapolis, IN. 46237) from 10:00am- 12:00pm. Funeral Services will be immediately following at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Orchard Hill Cemetery.

Ken was a good story teller, he always had something interesting to offer. We kidded each other often. He only called me an A- hole a few times, but if was always in fun. He especially liked it when I zinged Florence. I will miss him very much, and always cherished our time shooting the breeze.

My first time to meet Kenneth was at his surprise 50th birthday party. He always enjoyed big gatherings and especially his family reunions. He loved to cook and care for everyone. He will be surely missed
