Kim was born in Indianapolis to Richard E and Dorothy E Wilson on December 31, 1955. She graduated from Speedway High School in 1974. Her career included positions as a school secretary and administrative assistant for a number of companies over the years. She loved to travel while she was an army wife for 17 years and on her own when she was able. She walked through ancient castles in Europe, stood in the Eagles Nest in Berchtesgaden and swam in the Atlantic Ocean. Her greatest joy, however, was being a mother and grandmother. She was a follower of Jesus Christ despite having not attended a congregation for some time. She was an organizer of friends and a volunteer for charities. She was loved by many and will be missed.
Kim loved playing cards with her friends and was always ready for a game of Euchre. She made her own greeting cards as a hobby and thrilled many with her gifts of beautiful handmade cards.
Kim was preceded in death by both her parents, her sister Cathy Petty, Brother Richard and many dearly loved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kim is survived by her son, Glen Osborn Jr and his wife Angela, her grandchildren Kaitlyn, Jack and Keith and a great granddaughter Melody who she recently welcomed to the family. She leaves behind many more who knew her as a grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and dear friends.
Kim will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery beside her parents and grandparents. Visitation will be open for family and friends to pay their respects and share memories of the Kim they knew. Funeral will follow and graveside service will follow the funeral. Rev. Danny Thomas will officiate.
Due to current health concerns related to the pandemic, we are limited to only 25 people in attendance at a time in the funeral home. Those wishing to do so are welcome to wait and join us at the grave side to say their parting goodbyes.
Kim was a huge fan of Ronald McDonald House Charities and would have been thrilled for any donations to be made to that charity in her honor.
