Obituary of Kimari Lasha Hunt
Kimari Lasha Hunt, age 21, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday February 5, 2020. Kimari Lasha’ Hunt was born on June 2, 1998 in Indianapolis, Indiana to her proud parents, Regina McDade and Kimani Hunt. Kimari was a rambunctious child with a curious mind and a determined spirit. Her beautiful smile was like a ray of sunshine that brought joy and happiness to the hearts of her family and friends. Kimari graduated from John Marshall Community High school, were she participated in many school activities. She had great athletic ability and was a member of the varsity volleyball and varsity track teams. She was voted John Marshall Prom Queen in 2017. Kimari had received numerous scholarships and looked forward to attending Ivy Tech in the fall entering the school of dentistry. Kimari was only 21 years of age when God called her to her heavenly home but within those 21 years she touched so, so many souls and deposited love everywhere she went, always leaving an everlasting Kimari imprint. God called home a beautiful princess, she will forever be in our hearts, our souls, and our spirit. Kimari is preceded in death by grandparents Dorothy Pack and Reginald McDade. Kimari leaves cherished memories with her mother, Regina McDade; father, Kimani Hunt; sister, Kamiyah Grimes; brothers, Keysean McVey, Kejuan McDade, Da’mon Hunt, and Desmond Hunt; aunts Dawn McDade, Terry McCutchen, Audrey McDade, Jennifer Taylor (David), Itaska Hunt and Terry Woods; uncles, Reginald McDade, Shawn McDade (Jennifer) and Randy McDade; and a host of cousins, many relatives and friends. Funeral Service for Kimari will be held, 11:00 am, Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 9610 East 42nd Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, with visitation from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am, all taken place at the Church.
