Kimberly Ann Schuch

Kimberly Ann Schuch (Castile) was a devoted family woman—a loving wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt, and friend. She found joy in the simple, meaningful gifts God placed in her life: caring for her family, spending time with loved ones, reading, watching the wildlife around her home, shopping with her daughters-in-law, and creating cherished memories at the beach with family and close friends. Those who knew Kimberly remember her lighthearted personality, warm smile, and the genuine kindness she shared so freely. She especially loved watching her beloved birds, always looking forward to the return of the Orioles each season.

Kimberly dedicated many years to raising her two sons as a stay-at-home mother. She took great pride in creating a loving home, making sure every responsibility was cared for while never missing the countless sporting events, school activities, and milestones that filled their childhood. Her caring heart extended beyond her own family as she lovingly cared for the neighbor family's children for many years, treating them with the same patience and affection she gave her own.

After her sons were grown, Kimberly began a new chapter serving as the school secretary at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church and School. She was part of the school's earliest days and watched it grow from a small program into a thriving Pre-K through 8th-grade private elementary school. Through her years of service, she became a familiar and welcoming presence to students, families, and staff alike. She retired in 2016 after years of faithful dedication to the church and school community.

A woman of deep faith, Kimberly was a member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Her faith guided how she lived, loved, and cared for others throughout her life. She found comfort in God's promises and has now returned home to her Savior, reunited with her beloved husband.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Samuel J. Schuch IV; her father, Morris Castile; her mother, Eleanor Castile; her brother, Jeffrey Castile; and her grandson, Samuel J. Schuch VI.

She is survived by her son, Samuel J. Schuch V, his wife Jennifer, and their children, Samantha and Joseph; and her son, Daniel Schuch and his wife Jessica.

She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Barb Castile, along with her children, Chris Castile (Angie) and their daughters, Leia and Sara; and Heather Schofield (Bryce).

Kimberly will be remembered for her steady faith, caring heart, lighthearted spirit, and the quiet way she made every house feel like home and every person feel like family.

Visitation will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home, located at 700 W. 38th St. Indianapolis, IN, 46208, on August 22, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

A funeral service will take place at following visitation starting at 1:15 pm
