

Lana was born in Indianapolis to David Clyde Scofield and Betty Jane Scofield (Grayson).
Lana graduated from nursing school (Orange Memorial) in New Jersey. She graduated with a B.A. from University of Massachusetts, Boston in Health Care Administration, and an M.S. in Adult Education from Ball State University.
Lana worked as a Registered Nurse at the University of Virginia and Massachusetts General Hospital and specialized in cardiac care. She worked as Nursing Educator at St. Vincent New Hope for 10 years, and 18 years as CNA/QMA Program Director at Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis.
Lana was an Ivy Tech advisor for Phi Beta Kappa for 4 years. She has been a member of All Souls Unitarian Church for a number of years. She loved Al, her dogs, shopping, and most of all chocolate
Lana was preceded in death by David Clyde and Betty Jane Scofield (parents), August Alfred Anderson Jr. (husband), Keith David Scofield and Paul Grayson Scofield (brothers).
Lana is survived by sisters; Carol Faith Hughes (Edward C. Hughes III), and Patricia Anne Scofield (R. Craig Williamson), and Sue (dog).
Visitation will be from 11:30-12:30 on Wednesday, July 15th and immediately followed by Funeral Services at 12:30 pm at the Gothic Chapel, Crown Hill Cemetery with Reverend Katie Romano-Griffin officiating.
Memorials may be given to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or All Souls Unitarian Church.
