Lanny Joseph Arthur, age 11, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday June 3, 2020. Lanny was born March 20, 2009 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Margaret "Maggie" (Arthur) Tompkins and Johnny L Byrd II. Lanny was disabled from birth and enjoyed the tender care of many through his life, especially his sisters.
Lanny is survived by his father, Johnny L Byrd II; sisters, Ashley Marie Tompkins, Marlie Byrd, Ashley Byrd, and Sierra Byrd; and brothers, Anthony Jackson and Johnny Byrd III.
Lanny was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret "Maggie" (Arthur) Tompkins.
A memorial visitation for Lanny will be held Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana, followed by a celebration of life at 5:00 PM.
Face masks and social distancing will be required and a 50 guest at a time capacity will be observed.
