

Larry Joe Pyatt, 68, of Carmel, IN passed away on May 26, 2016. Larry was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 9, 1947 to Harry and Betty (Housefield) Pyatt. He is survived by his wife Ginger and his four children, Terry (wife Lisa), Tony (wife Bonnie), Todd (wife Jennifer), and Brittany Pyatt. Larry is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Lily, Hunter, Paige, Liam & Dylan Pyatt, and Brittany & Michael Clark. Larry graduated from Washington High School in 1965. During high school, he played golf and also met his high school sweetheart, Ginger. The two wed on April 6, 1968, and were happily married for 48 years. Larry was a graduate of Indiana State University, and also served in the Air Force National Guard as a Staff Sergeant specializing in Civil Engineering. During and after his time in the National Guard, Larry worked in Quality Assurance and Aeronautical Engineering until his retirement in 2009. A devoted husband and father, Larry loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed boating, reading, fishing, and traveling all around the world. He was a member of various organizations including Carmel Christian Church, the Murat Shriners, and Masonic Lodge Post Oriental 500, and the Scottish Rite.
