Laura J Isenthal

Laura was born in Virginia to Myrtle and Kenneth Mitchell on February 13, 1935. She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1953 and married Jerry Isenthal in March 1955. She worked for: Channel 13, now known as WRTV; Xerox, R&J Sales, and ended her work at CTS (Christian Theological Seminar) near the campus of Butler University. She loved piano and shared her love with her four children and many students she taught. She also had a love for gardening. Her volunteer work included time at the Indiana Literacy League.

Laura is preceded in death by her mother Rosa Myrtle Mitchell, her father Marion Kenneth Mitchell, husband Jerry, daughter Charlotte, and brothers James and Leon Mitchell.

Laura is survived by her sister Tanya (spouse Jack), Nephews Zach and Austin.

Stepbrothers: Jerry and Amos.

Stepsister: Shirley

Children: Marjolynn (spouse Alan), Angela (spouse Michael) Jay (spouse Angie), and Elizabeth.

Grandchildren Amy, Jennifer (spouse Monsum) Andrew, Bridget, Justin (spouse Claire), Jared (spouse Haley), Nate, Kristen (spouse Jesse) Shane, and Shelby.

Great Grandchildren: Caylynn, Allison, Kloey, Jaden, Addilyn, Aliah, Josiah, Kaylee, Taylor (spouse Renee), Danielle (spouse Brandon) William, Amelia Bell, Rylee, Rayna, Lane

Great Great Grandchildren: Greyson, AJ, Diamond Rose

Nieces, Sarah, Kim - along with several other nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 9 from 12-2PM with a funeral service to follow at 2pm at Crown Hill Funeral Home and the burial to follow.
