Leesa led a life of distinction but also a simple life that included a love of family, baking, and sports. She was also always proud to be a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. so she could give back to the community she so loved. Leesa's love of sports was never ending as she would never miss a Colts game, knew every player in any professional, college, or even local sporting event, and loved doing brackets every year for March Madness. Her greatest love was always her family however, know that her house would be full of family members gave her an inner peace.
Stevie Wonder once commented about his mother "Mama was my greatest teacher, a teacher of compassion, love and fearlessness. If love is sweet as a flower, then my mother is that sweet flower of love."
