90, of Carmel, died December 3, 2012. She was born in Indianapolis on November 6, 1922 to Newton Charles Lowe and Bessie G. (Shipp) Lowe. Miss Lowe spent her splendid and remarkable career in banking. She was one of the first woman tellers hired by The Indiana National Bank in the mid 1940's. At her retirement in 1984, she was Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Indiana National Corporation. She was well-respected by her fellow employees, by members of senior management, and by the Board of Directors. Everyone who knew her would agree that she was one of the most efficient persons ever to pass through the doors of 3 Virginia Avenue. Leni was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Wilbur Lowe. Funeral services will be offered on Monday December 10 at 11:00AM at the chapel of Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at 9700 Allisonville Road.
