Lillian Emma "Till" Gaines- Kelly

Lillian was born to the late Rebecca Smith-Johnson and Dallas T. Johnson on December 26, 1923 in Cartersville Georgia. She was educated in the Indianapolis, Indiana school system. As an adult she relocated to Detroit, MI working for the Detroit Public Schools. She later came home to Indiana to retire. Early in her life, Lillian accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of the Second Canann Missionary Baptist Church, Detroit Michigan and later the Greater Gethsemane Baptist church, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Thelma Sansbury, Laura Stiles and Rebecca Martin; her son Dallas T. Gaines Sr. , and her ex-husband the late Adrian "Buck" Gaines. She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Brenda Hayes (Bryant), Michael Gaines (Margret), Keith Gaines, and Carlerne Lindsey-Hutchings (James). Grandchildren Adrain Gaines II, Crystal Staples (Leonard), David Earl Benson (Jeanetta), Shawn Gaines, Dallas Gaines Jr, (Triniece), Lindssae Boyd, and Evonee' Horton. An a host of great, great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
