Linda A. Cassidy

76, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 6, 2011. She was born March 23, 1934 in Indianapolis to Raymond and Thelma (Fletcher) Starks. She was a graduate of Little Flower Catholic School, St. Agnes Academy and earned her nursing degree from Ivy tech later in life. Linda worked as an LPN with Portamedic for 6 years and later worked at Eastside Health Care Center for 15 years. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and was a dedicated and caring animal lover. Linda is survived by her daughters: Pamela Scholl and Gina (Fred) Jackson; sons, David, Edward (Tamara) and Christopher (Darlene) Cassidy; grandsons, John Cremering, Derrick, Chad and Corey Cassidy and great-grandsons Anthony and Grayson Cassidy. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald L. Cassidy. Visitation will be Friday, March 11th from 4 – 8 pm in Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 9:30 am in the mortuary followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Little Flower Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
