Linda Sue Potter

INDIANAPOLIS – Linda Sue Potter (Jul. 11, 1951 - Feb. 4, 2023) has left this Earth and is resting in the sacred arms of Jesus Christ our Lord. Linda leaves behind her beloved mother Jeannette Vawter (Dewey), brother John (Pam) and niece Christine, her husband Michael and their sons Erik (Bethany), Nathan, Jonathan (Christine), Matthew (Leslie), Benjamin (India), as well as grandchildren Daniel, Emmett, Troy, Silas, and Nora. Linda held degrees from University of Indianapolis (BA Music Education), Butler University, and Ball State University (MA Elementary Education). Linda was widely regarded as a talented accompanist and church organist. As a music teacher, her career spanned MSDs Warren Township (Sunny Heights) and Pike Township (Guion Elem. and Snacks Crossing). Additionally, hundreds of students enjoyed her private piano lessons over three decades. Her positive attitude, dedication to her craft, and love of people will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on March 10th, with a visitation at 4pm and service starting at 5pm, at John Wesley Free Methodist Church (5900 W. 46th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46254).
