Linda Renee Wolcott

Linda Renee Wolcott, 72, of Indianapolis passed away March 30, 2024 after a sudden illness. Linda was born in Valparaiso, Indiana the daughter of the late Werner and Dolores (Schirm) Stranghoener. She retired from the State of Indiana where she was a Social Worker. She was a longtime member and very active at the Cross Church in Indianapolis. She was involved at the Greenwood Senior Community Center and with Women After Five group. She was preceded in death by her parents. Linda is survived by her husband, John Michael Wolcott; bonus sons, Michael Travis Wolcott and his wife Jenn and Waylon Joshua Wolcott; grandchildren, Justice Wolcott, Lane Wolcott, Nicole Cutshaw and Nate and Alli Boltz, Caleb and Gracie Wolcott; great-grandchildren, Landon, Liam, Ahmiyah, Adelyn, Wrynley and Hayden; brothers Larry Stranghoener and his wife Lynn and Ron Stranghoener. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 17, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Cross Church Indy, 4540 Madison Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227.
