26, passed away October 10, 2010. Lindsay was born on May 7, 1984 to Missy and Brad Stout. Originally from the Indianapolis area, Lindsay had been residing in Chicago for the past six years. She attended Park Tudor School through the fifth grade, then moved into the Carmel, IN school system, graduating from Carmel High School in 2002. She then decided to move to the big city and graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago in 2009. For all who knew Lindsay, there are no words that are powerful enough to describe her energy and magnetism. She was an avid organizer of various events in and around the Chicago area, but was best known as the girl with the crazy red hair who was racing around the city on her fixed gear bike at just about any hour of the day or night. Her latest claim to fame was being on Live with Regis and Kelly last February for an Ambush Makeover. Needless to say, the makeover lasted about two hours and the crazy red hair quickly returned! Lindsay was very fortunate to have travelled to some wonderful places during her lifetime: Safari in Africa, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Canada, a month long journey through Europe and a week in the Costa Rican rain forest, from which she returned the week before she passed.
Lindsay's passion for life was infectious and she greatly touched everyone who knew her. Her spirit will live in our hearts forever.
Lindsay is survived by her parents Missy and Brad Stout; stepmother, Stephanie Stout; brother, Brady Stout; grandfathers, Bruce M. Causey and Harry Stout; uncle, Bruce E. Causey and
aunts, Hilary Salatich, Nancy Hutchins, Cathy Bayse, Wendy O'Brien and Julie Stout.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Anti Cruelty Society at 157 W. Grand Avenue Chicago, IL 60654.
A memorial service for Lindsay will be held at the DeBoest Lecture Hall at the Indianapolis Museum of Art on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 5:00 PM. A celebration of her life will follow at the IMA as well, directly after the service.
