Lindy Best

Lindy Lynn Best 31, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 9, 2021. Lindy was born on December 14, 1989 to her parents; Larry Best and Laura Maloy during a snow storm. Lindy was very dedicated to her schooling and received her Masters Degree from Texas A&M in behavioral therapy. She worked as a case worker for CPS for many years. Her passion was helping children in need. Lindy traveled the world all by herself and taught English to children in South America. She worked in the most dangerous neighborhoods without fear. She always stood up for the most vulnerable and troubled children. Where ever she is now she continues God's advocacy for the marginalized and disenfranchised. Lindy is survived by her parents; Larry Best and Laura Maloy, sister; Laureah (Daniel) Jones, nephews; Hudson and Walker, niece; Jaclynn and her step father; John Maloy. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal great-grandmother in which she will be laid to rest next to. A Private visitation will be held at Crown Hill Peace Chapel on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 11:00am - 12:00pm. Funeral Services will be held immediately following ay 12:00pm.
