He was a retired Journeyman Ironworker with Local 22 and had been the owner of Big Foot Towing Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Lee and Jessie Mae Johnson and his brothers, Fredrick and Shedrick Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, loving wife, Roxie J. Johnson; children: Lonnie F. Johnson, Camea Fields and Rocquel Johnson; siblings: Hedrick Johnson, John Johnson, James Johnson, David Johnson and Annie Earl Counce; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
"Foots" visitation is Saturday, June 13, 2015, 9am - 11am, with the Homegoing Service at 11am in Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home.
