I lite this candle for you so that you know how bright you have always been in my life.  Now I will take the things that you have taught me and try to make you as proud of me as I was of you. I will think of you always and love you even more.  Give Dad a hug and I will see you both again some day.

At the service it was mentioned that Gma would have a mansion in Heaven. I wonder if her mansion will be a fishing cabin or an old farm house? There will be enough rooms for every family member. Of course the babies will be closest to her. There will be a dinner table big enough for everyone. Will she fix fried chicken or fish? Regardless it will be something fried, she will make noodles, but will she add the yellow dye that Gma Boring used to do? She won't cook everything, but she will certainly tell everyone else how to do it. Papa Wally has been waiting, and will yell for Tootsie to come give him a kiss, and she will hear him, he didn't have to use the dry board. She will wait for each and every one of us and will keep daily tabs on how often we speak kindly of her memory. The daily tabs may signify where you sit at the big dinner table. Gma was a tough lady, and raised a wonderful, loving, proud family who is also tough. We will stick together and get through this, we don't have a choice. Gma would want us to move on and be happy, but she'd also want us to think of her daily, and we will.

We all called her Tootsie and she was just that sweet,,always soft spoken and kind,,we had lots of fun in  our younger years,,and she was always willing to help others...As a young women working in a Lady's Clothing store she always helped my husband pick out my Christmas gifts,,and she had good taste too..She wil surely be missed..Heaven has a wonderful new Angel..

Uncle Jake & Lora's family - I'm sorry for your loss. May your memories give you comfort.

I will always remember her as my Aunt Tootsie, even though I was her brothers step-son she always treated me as if I was a part of the family. Love you Aunt Tootsie and I will deeply miss you.

I called her "Mom"  since I married her son 45 yrs ago.  I knew nothing about cooking, laundry, or anything about housekeeping or raising children back then.  I learned so much by watching her. She was such a wonderful cook.  She once told me that I should always fix breakfast for Skip if he was going to work, but if he was going to play ( Fishing, hunting, etc, ) he could fix his own.  That is a rule I always followed.  During her last days when I cooked meals for her, when she liked it she said "I taught her how to cook."  I will miss you Mom.

Lora was my very good friend.  We had lots of laughs together when our husbands were Lion's Club Governor's 1988-89,  Due to age and health we didn't get to see each other very often lately, but it was fun when we did.  I will miss you, Lora but I know I'll see you again when my time comes to join you.  RIP
