

Lucille Burrus passed away on July 3, 2015. She was born in Trenton, Kentucky. She retired from Von Duprin company She was a member of Oasis of Hope Church, where she sang in the choir, was on the Missionary and Mothers board. Her parents John Lee Bell and Mary E. Bell daughter, Eula Mary Davis "JoAnne" along with her husband, Rev. Richard William Burrus preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Richard Eugene Burrus, daughters, Shelia Victoria Burrus, brothers, Ed Bell Sr. (Vivian), Louis Bell (Annetta), sisters, Dorothy Day Lester, Ruth Wilkerson (Michael), sister-n-law, Ora Louise Bell, grandchildren, Tonya Conger, Anthony Davis, Michael Davis, Anitra Davis, Maxine Burrus, Takita Burrus, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Oasis of Hope Church, 1701 East 25th Street with the visitation starting at 10 A.M. and the funeral services will begin at 12 Noon.
