Cyndi was a loving and caring wife, aunt, and sister. She loved spending time with family and friends- particularly her nieces and nephews. She was an avid doll collector and Monkees fan. Cyndi was a fun-loving person and liked to play jokes on people. Cyndi and Steve would always plan their vacations centered around amusement parks because it was one of their favorite pass-times together.
Cyndi was a very smart person and had even skipped the second grade. Cyndi was also very big on genealogy and was considered the family historian. She was a registered nurse at IU Health OBGYN for 44 years and was one of the first in the state of Indiana to receive the credentials to teach childbirth classes. She loved her coworkers and was well respected by all of them.
She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
Cyndi is survived by her husband, Steven Griggs; her sister Jody Eve (Bob Eve) and her sister Peggy Arbuckle (Dave Harold).
Cyndi was preceded in death by her father William Arbuckle and her mother Ruth Arbuckle.
A visitation for Cyndi will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Family Funeral Care- Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46214. Following the visitation will be a celebration of life at 7:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224.
