I was always so impressed by the steadfastness Luree had for her beloved Maple Hill United Methodist Church. Luree served many many years as the Chairwoman of the MHUMC Council.

Luree dedicated herself to providing leadership for many annual bean dinners, bake sales, rummage sales to raise monies for Church missions.

If there was ever anything to be done at her Church Luree was right there working beside all the Church family to help get the job done.

This week I loss a mentor but more I loss a very dear friend.

Even though there have been tears in my eyes this week, I have had even more smiles in my heart when I think about Luree.

God Bless You, Luree
Many sympathies and love to the family of Luree Collins. Linda K. Hicks

Luree was like a mom to me as she was to so many. I was blessed to be a part of her family and having her daughter, Carol, as my sister in law and friend. I enjoyed the times we spent together when I would give her a ride home from church. She would always offer to fix me lunch but I usually had to decline for some reason. One Sunday I got to stay for lunch and I was amazed by how she could still cook at 94 years old and pretty much blind to boot. I loved and admired Luree so much! She has left a void in my heart and I will never forget her. She was a totally amazing person that will live on in so many hearts.
Love, prayers & hugs to her family!

Luree filled the world with special joy and happiness untold. She always exuded God’s love
with her heart of gold. She made life so much brighter for all she met. Without fail, she always had an uplifting and kind word on her lips. It is hard to face the world and know she won't be there. Our lives are diminished when one of God’s warriors goes home. The memories she leaves behind, grow sweeter day by day.
Luree is missed more than any words can say.

Enjoy the reward that awaits you, good and faithful servant.

My Grandmother Luree Arlowynn Collins was a amazing woman. I remember always going to her house on the weekends. I loved spending time with her. I remember we would go to the store she would always buy me a car. She was the one who taught me about God. She was the one taught Bible study on Wednesdays at church. She was a giving woman. I know I'm going to miss seeing her. I love you grandma RIH till I see you again....xoxo

I will miss Thanksgiving at church with the my husband's family . (Mark Allen Collins)
Her cooking was sensational. Christmas dinners as well. I'd look forward to her letter's, she would do a recap of the year , she would update how everyone was doing. She had given me money for Christmas one year, I bought a vintage 1920s ring . The ring will always reminded me of her. She is the sweetest, kind. Most loveable lady I have ever met. She treated me like family and my children. She was a women of God! There is nothing this sweet women wouldn't do for anyone or her community. She Will be missed.. Love u sweet lady. May you rest in peace....
Till we meet again.
