Lynell had many things she loved to do; cook, shop, dress up, and most of all, she loved to host. Entertaining family and loved ones was something she took much pride in. One of her well known semi-annual parties was “Mississippi Day” was the biggest event where everyone came together ate and fellowshipped. Lynell was a beautiful soul who loved to laugh, loved to have fun, and share all of her wisdom all the while.
A time to die:
On Monday, September 28, 2020 the Lord called Lynell home saying “well done, thy good and faithful servant. You’ve been faithful for a few things, now you can be faithful over many.”
Lynell is preceded in death by her mother and father.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children; Valerie Grant and Bryant Lamont Jackson. Granchildren; Christopher Grant Sr., Paige Rhodes, Brynn Jackson, and Bryana Jackson. Great-Grandchildren; Riley, Christopher Jr., and Pierce. Three sisters; Beatrice Peete (Paul) of Chicago, IL, Verene Graham of Fort Wayne, IN (preceded in death) Ruby Miller of Memphis, TN.
