I would do anything to take January 18th back and to be able to call and chat with you about any and everything! You were an awesome adopted grandmother to me and my siblings and we will never forget you! Seeing you smile at every one of our events made my heart glad! Love you lots!

Elizabeth (EP) was a friend to me when I most needed it. She voluntarily assisted me in starting my business and expected nothing in return. I learned so many things from her including the skill of quietly waiting before responding and how to be a peaceful warrior. She genuinely loved everyone that she ever met and always learned every detail she could in an effort to be a great friend and listener. Gracefully and successfully living through eras where being a divorced minority mother was  difficult, only strengthened her resolve to be a strong Christian example to others. In a brief moment she is gone and I, and my sons, will miss her greatly. The memories and laughter that we shared over a 25 year period will be cherished. I pray that her spirit is with her son, her beloved parents and all those whom she cherished and I am sure that she has seen the face of God and will remain with the Father forever.

I remember Elizabeth  from Our Redeemer Lutheran Church when my father-in-law, Harry Huxhold, was pastor.   Elizabeth always had a smile and a nice word to say.   She was the sweetest lady....    we are sad to hear the news.

Elizabeth was a dear, dear friend and an honorary Grandma to my kids. She delighted in every opportunity to turn something into a learning experience when my kids were small,i.e. the history of and how to make homemade ice cream for their after school treat when she greeted them after they got off the bus. We so enjoyed having her share holiday dinners with us and I think she thoroughly enjoyed it too! She was one my biggest cheerleaders, loved hearing about the accomplishments of my children, husband and even our family dog! E.P. - you will be very sadly missed. You were always such a grand lady. I was also saddened and shocked to hear about Dwight. Elizabeth was eagerly looking forward to sharing a ride to TN to spend time with him right after Christmas. Right after Thanksgiving when it was thought Dwight had a heart attack, we had just had a conversation about how we mothers live for our children. My heart aches to think of her living through that.
