98, of Indianapolis, departed this life November 18, 2016 at home. She was born March 8, 1918 in Pontiac, Illinois to the late Harry and Cordelia Haines Wagner. Margaret worked as a clerk for RCA for 15 years, and Lumberman’s Insurance Company for 12 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Post Road Christian Church and the Heritage Fellowship at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Koenig and sister, Virginia A. Richards. Margaret is survived by her children, Karen Lee Koenig Mickelson and Aaron Koenig; grandchildren, Loraine Black and Marissa Mickelson. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm on Monday, November 21st at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 22nd at 11:00 am at Post Road Christian Church Interment follows at Lincoln Memory Gardens. Contributions are suggested to Post Road Christian Church.
