Margaret Ellen Romans

Margaret Ellen Romans, 94, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022. Margaret was born on March 23, 1928 to the late Florence (Striley) Mock and Michael Mock. She married Raymond Romans on October 7, 1945 and together they raised four children. She loved Jesus, she loved her family, and she loved people. Margaret always found the good in everybody. She loved to sew and could've been mistaken as a professional at it. Her children remember her being a wonderful cook and a wonder mother to them and all the neighborhood children as well. She was a wonderful Christian lady and was a member of the Southeastern Holiness Church where she attended faithfully until her health would not allow her to go. Margaret is survived by her children; James Romans (Sue), Ronnie Romans (Verna), Pamela Baker (Howard), and Calvin Romans (Paula). Sister-n-law Jody Mock and Brother-n-law Joe Williams. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory; 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Raymond as well as all of her seven siblings. A visitation for Margaret will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Margaret's memory may be made to Southeastern Holiness Church, 3957 Southeastern Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46203.
