Sweet Mariana loved to kiss our therapy dog Zoey🥰 Mariana was kind, funny, loved Jesus and finished her race worn out but not rusted out..,she persevered with tying finishing touches to quilts, giving away her beautiful artwork and sharing stories about her beloved family, time in Florida with her husband, cooking,…. Her son was so faithful in keeping her birdfeeders full, and she delighted in watching these little creations of God. Miss her still but I am so grateful for the assurance of heaven to see her again because of what Jesus has done for all who 
believe in Him. Romans 10:9-10” because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart one 
believes and is justified and with the mouth one confesses and is

Mariana was such a delight to visit at Wellbrooke with our therapy dog Zoey. She was always busy with something--- tying quilts for someone from church who had a blanket for the homeless ministry, caring for her plants, and watching birds. Beautiful smile! Mariana had great joy in coloring pictures (which I think she might have discovered in her later years and she tackled it with gusto). How faithful her family was to keep her bird feeder full as she delighted in watching God's magnificent little creatures! Joining in on weddings was so fun for her too. Mariana enjoyed having Zoey partway in her lap with their faces close together. So very thankful that Mariana loves Jesus as her Lord and Savior so we will see her again....and she will be able to hear perfectly!

Aunt Mariana was always joyful, understanding and kind.  During summer visits, there was always a platter of homegrown tomatoes on the dining room table.  She was a seamstress who understood the desire for up-to-date clothing and had the ability to create it.  She seemed amazingly understanding for a grown-up!  I didn't realize then she was only 22 years older than me.

She was an excellent cook, especially her beef and noodles!  I also remember finding a pot of real mincemeat being prepared on the basement stove, that surprised me.  She also had an electric wringer washer down there.

I remember Mariana when she was dating my brother Emmett. I was a young boy at 8 years old. When she would come to our home she would want me to sit on her lap and sing "You Are My Sunshine".  
Mariana was always nice  and pleasant to be around.    We would visit with Emmett and Mariana  often as the years passed.  She will be greatly missed.

Aunt Mariana always greeted me with a sweet little crocked smile and a warm hug.  I never recall her raising her voice such a calm way about her.   Although being married into the Fuehrer Family there certainly would have be times of frustration those amazing yet stubborn Fuehrer men.  
I cherish those times "down on the farm" large meals when everyone made the best effort to be present.  So much love around that table.  Even as a small child I can recall the voices and conversations long after the meal had been devoured.
Aunt Mariana had a gift in the kitchen.  It was a blessing to see what she would unpack for those family gatherings and try to be first in line to get some.  Supportive and patient and poised and giving of herself helping others and volunteering at church.  This is how I will choose to remember such a special lady... My Aunt Mariana peace with you.

Mariana was my grandmother, and I could not have loved her more. I can't tell you all the wonderful memories I have with her, from playing in the backyard in Florida, to fishing and golfing, and helping make her famous noodles. She was a warm and wonderful person. I will miss her and continue to love her forever!
