

90, passed away April 21, 2011. She was born May 26, 1920 in Jeffersonville, IN., the daughter of Walter P. Keller and Ruth M. ( McCune) Keller. She was the widow of John Kraus to whom she was a devoted wife for 49 years. She was a homemaker and wonderful mother. She was a member of St. Theresa (Little Flower) Catholic Church for 60 plus years and active in the women’s club there. She also worked as the director of engineering’s secretary at Naval Avionics Facility for 28 years, retiring in 1986. After her retirement, she and her husband John enjoyed traveling and made many international trips. Her favorite destinations were Grindelwald, Switzerland and Wurzburg, Germany, her husband’s home town. She was an excellent cook and thoroughly enjoyed family meals and get togethers. She was preceded in death by her brother Dan Keller of Logansport, IN. She is survived by her sister Virginia Quill of Indianapolis, two sons, John W. (Jay and Sandy) and Michael M. Kraus. Two granddaughters, Kim Graddy (Greg), and Lindsey Salley (Mitch), and three great grandchildren, Ava and Olivia Graddy and Grayson Salley. She is also survived by four nieces, one nephew, five great nieces and seven great nephews. Viewing will be at Feeney Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave. Wednesday April 27, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. And also Thursday April 29 from 9:30 – 10 at the church. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Little Flower Catholic church, 1401 N. Bosart Ave. Indianapolis at 10:00AM Thursday, April 28th. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 9001 Haverstick Rd., Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church.
